More about Melodifestivalen
With music as the driving force and message, Melodifestivalen continues to deliver entertainment filled with joy, excitement and community – year after year. The audience, of all ages, repeatedly gives the event high marks, and the unique atmosphere in the arenas must be experienced on site to truly understand.
– Melodifestivalen is a folk festival for all of Sweden, both on TV couches and in the arenas. But being there live gives an extra dimension, a fireworks display of emotions, energy and community. The fact that we are also celebrating 25 years of the Melodifestival tour makes the 2026 edition something very special, says Peter Uksila, Project Director at Live Nation Sweden.
Every weekend during the tour offers something for all tastes. Saturday evenings' live competitions are full of nerves and drama, the matinee performances on Saturdays offer a colorful show for the whole family, and Friday's genre rehearsal offers the opportunity to be among the first to see the competition take shape.
